Add text to image について

This page writes text onto a picture and saves it as a normal image file, at the original resolution. Each text block is a layer you can drag anywhere, rotate, align left, centre or right, and style on its own: a large title at the top, a date in a corner and a caption at the bottom can each have a different font and colour. Text size is a percentage of the image width, so the words keep their proportions even though the preview on screen is smaller than the photo.

All 13 fonts — sans-serif, condensed, slab and classic serif, rounded, script and handwritten styles — include Latin Extended and Cyrillic letters, so captions in Uzbek, Turkish, Polish, Vietnamese, Russian, Ukrainian or Kazakh display their own characters rather than boxes or a fallback typeface. The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts only for the letters you actually type, and all of them are free to use under the Open Font License, including commercially. For readability on busy photos, give the text an outline, a soft shadow or a solid background box.

Typical uses are quotes on photos, labels on product pictures, event announcements, titles for thumbnails and handwritten-style notes on a snapshot. The text is merged into the pixels when you download, so it can't be edited later in another app; keep the original if you might change the wording. The list has no fonts for Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi or Thai; your system font is used for those characters. For top-and-bottom meme captions and stickers, the meme generator is the quicker choice.

プライバシー

The text is drawn on a canvas in your browser and the image is encoded on your device; neither the photo nor your words are uploaded. Font files are requested from Google Fonts by character range, so those requests don't contain your text.

Add text to image:よくある質問

Can I write in Cyrillic or other non-English letters?
Yes. Every font in the list has Latin, Latin Extended and Cyrillic glyphs, so Russian, Ukrainian, Kazakh, Uzbek Cyrillic and Latin with oʻ and gʻ, Turkish, Polish, Czech or Vietnamese text renders in the chosen typeface. The font files for those characters are downloaded when you type them. Scripts such as Hindi, Thai or Chinese fall back to a font installed on your device.
How do I make text readable on a busy photo?
Use a contrasting outline: white letters with a black outline of 8–12% read well on almost anything. A shadow helps on bright skies, and a background box behind the text is the clearest option for long captions. Bold weights and condensed fonts such as Oswald also survive being shrunk to a thumbnail better than thin script fonts.
Does adding text reduce the image quality?
The image keeps its pixel dimensions and the text is drawn at that full resolution, so letters stay sharp even on large photos. With the format on Auto, a JPG is saved again as JPG at quality 90, which is barely distinguishable from the original; choose PNG if you need a lossless copy, for example for further editing.
Can I edit the text after downloading the image?
Not in the saved file: the words become part of the picture, like a printed caption. While the page is open you can change, move or restyle the text as often as you like and download again. If you will need different wording later, keep your original photo, because removing text from a flattened image is hard.
Can I add the same text to many pictures?
Yes. Add up to 10 images and the text layers appear on every one in the same relative position and size, which works for a series of photos with your name, a date or an event title. Click a thumbnail to check that the text fits each picture, then save them all as a ZIP. For a faint logo or tiled copyright mark, the watermark tool is better suited.
