Add border to imageの使い方

  1. 1

    Add images

Drop up to 10 photos, screenshots or logos of up to 25 MB. A white frame of 4% appears straight away.

  2. 2

    Style the border

Set the width, pick any colour with the swatch or a hex code, and round the corners from square to pill-shaped.

  3. 3

    Add depth if you like

Switch on Drop shadow and choose how soft it is, then decide whether the space around it stays transparent or gets a colour.

  4. 4

    Save

Download the framed picture or the whole batch as a ZIP. With transparent corners or a shadow, it is saved as PNG automatically.

Add border to image について

A border separates a picture from whatever it sits on: a white page, a dark chat background, a busy social feed. This page draws one around your image without cropping anything. The frame is added outside the photo, so a 1200 × 800 image with a 4% border becomes 1264 × 864 pixels and every original pixel stays visible.

Width is measured as a percentage of the image's shorter side rather than in fixed pixels, so the same setting looks the same on a phone photo and on a small thumbnail, which matters when you frame a batch of pictures with different sizes; the slider shows the pixel value for the current image too. Any colour works, from classic white or black to a brand colour typed as a hex code. Rounded corners curve the frame and the photo inside it together, up to a pill or near-circle shape. The drop shadow adds a soft, slightly offset shade beneath the frame and extends the canvas so the shadow isn't cut off; the area around it can stay transparent, for placing on a website or slide, or be filled with a colour for a flat JPG.

Typical uses are Instagram posts with a white margin, framed screenshots for documentation, product pictures that need to stand out on a white shop page, and a uniform look for a gallery. The frame is a plain solid colour: there are no patterned, wooden or double-line frames here, and the border can't be placed inside the picture to cover its edges.

プライバシー

The frame, corners and shadow are drawn on a canvas in your browser tab and the result is encoded on your device. Your images are not uploaded anywhere and nothing about them is kept after you close the page.

Add border to image:よくある質問

Does adding a border crop or shrink my picture?
Neither. The border is added around the outside, so the canvas grows by twice the border width in each direction and the photo keeps its exact pixels. If you need a specific final size, for example 1080 × 1080 for Instagram, add the border here and then resize the result with the image resizer, or crop it to a square first.
How do I add a white border for Instagram?
Keep the default white colour and set a width of about 3–6%. For a square post, crop the photo to 1:1 first with the crop tool, then frame it here so the margin is equal on every side. Many people prefer a thin border on the long sides only; that look needs a crop to 4:5 and a canvas tool instead.
Why was my bordered image saved as PNG?
Rounded corners and drop shadows leave areas outside the frame that are transparent by default, and JPG can't store transparency. With the format on Auto the page switches to PNG so those corners stay see-through. If you want a JPG, choose a colour under Behind corners and shadow, or select JPG and the transparent areas are filled with that colour.
Can I give a whole set of photos the same frame?
Yes. Add up to 10 images on the free plan and they all get the same border width, colour, corners and shadow. Because the width is a percentage of each picture's shorter side, portrait and landscape shots end up with frames that look equally thick. Download all puts every framed copy into one ZIP file.
Can I put a border around a circle or add text as well?
Yes, the border is one mode of a photo editor. Switch on Circle and the border becomes a ring around the round crop, which suits profile pictures. Text layers go on top of the frame, so you can write a caption in the border area. Black and white or colour adjustments can be combined with the frame too.
