About Organize PDF
Organize PDF rebuilds a document from its own pages in the order and orientation you set, so you can fix a file before sending it instead of scanning or exporting it again. Every page is shown as a numbered thumbnail. You can drag it to a new position, turn it 90 degrees either way or upside down, mark it for deletion, make a copy that lands right after it, or insert an empty page before or after it. Selections work across the whole document, which turns jobs like rotating every even page of a scan or moving an appendix to the front into a couple of clicks.
Two whole-document actions cover common scanner mishaps: Reverse order flips a stack that was fed last page first, and Collate a double-sided scan interleaves a file that holds all the front sides followed by the back sides in reverse.
The new PDF is assembled with pdf-lib from the original page objects, so text stays selectable, images keep their resolution and nothing is redrawn. Links between pages you keep, fillable form fields, the title and the author are preserved, while the bookmark sidebar of the source is not copied. Deleted pages are left out of the file together with the fonts and images that only they used. The tool doesn't combine several PDFs, edit what is printed on a page or change page sizes.
Privacy
Pages are previewed with PDF.js and the new document is written by pdf-lib in a Web Worker inside this tab, so neither the PDF nor its pages ever leave your device, and nothing is kept once you close the page. A password-protected or damaged file is unlocked or repaired locally by qpdf, a 1.3 MB WebAssembly engine fetched from this site only when it's needed.
