Privacy policy

The short version: tools marked “Runs in your browser” process your files on your device, so we never receive them. This policy lists everything we do collect, why, and for how long. The technical detail is on How it works.

Last updated October 21, 2026

Files you process

In-browser tools read your file into the browser tab, process it there and give you the result as a download. The file is not uploaded, stored or seen by us, and it is discarded when you close the tab.

Some tools download a library or an AI model the first time you use them, from this site or from a public CDN (jsDelivr, unpkg, Hugging Face, Google Cloud Storage or Google Fonts). Like any web request, those providers see your IP address and browser type; the request contains code or model files only, never your data.

Server-side tools

Tools labelled “Processed on our server” send what you enter (a web address, a keyword, the links or monitors you create) to our server, because the job cannot be done in a browser. Each one states on its page what it keeps.

A few in-browser tools have an optional online lookup, such as reading a page's title and author for a citation. The note next to that field says what is sent; nothing from it is stored.

Request logs

Our server records each request: the time, the address requested, your IP address, your browser's user agent and the response status. We use these logs to fix errors and stop abuse, and they are deleted after 14 days. Your browser may also send us security reports when it blocks a script on our pages; these contain the page address and the blocked address only. Server tools count requests per IP address in memory for 60 seconds to prevent abuse.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to learn which tools are used and where they fail. Events include the tool name, the category, whether it ran in the browser or on the server, a file-size range such as “1–10 MB”, how long a job took and a short error code. File names, file contents and exact sizes are never sent. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are set only after you agree in the consent banner.

Advertising

Free pages show ads from Google AdSense. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland a Google-certified consent banner asks before any personalised ad or ad cookie is used; if you decline, you may see non-personalised ads. Elsewhere you can turn off personalised ads in Google's ad settings. Pro subscribers don't see ads.

Data stored on your device

Your browser's local storage keeps your preferences (theme, recent settings), your 10 shortcuts with a count of the tools you open (to suggest them), and drafts you create, such as an invoice or a resume, so they are there next time. This data stays on your device; we cannot read it, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Payments

Pro subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by our payment provider. We receive your email address, the plan and the payment status, never your card number.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use by emailing [email protected] with “Privacy request” in the subject. If you are in the EEA or the UK you can also complain to your data protection authority. The site is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and significant changes are noted in the changelog.
