Images must be hosted online: Gmail strips embedded images, so the signature links to them. Use a picture on your website, your company's brand page or any image host that gives a direct link. Nothing is uploaded here.

About Email signature generator

Email signature generator writes a signature as HTML that mail programs accept when you paste it into their settings. The markup uses nested tables with every style written inline, colors as hex codes and pixel sizes repeated as width and height attributes, because classic Outlook renders mail with Word's engine and ignores most modern CSS. Social profiles appear as small colored cells with a letter or two, such as "in" for LinkedIn, made from HTML rather than pictures, so they still show when a recipient's client blocks images. You can switch them to plain text links instead.

Four layouts are included: a classic one with your photo beside a colored divider, a stacked one, a compact two-line version for replies, and a banner with a colored strip for your company, website and a call-to-action link. Fonts are limited to web-safe families that every computer has, since mail clients can't load web fonts reliably.

Photos and logos are referenced by URL. Gmail removes images embedded as base64 data, so the picture has to live on a website you control or on an image host that gives a direct link. The tool warns about sharing-page links from Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox, which open a viewer page instead of the image. It does not host files, track opens or add a "made with" credit to your signature.

Privacy

The signature is assembled in this tab and your details are kept only in this browser's local storage so the form is still filled in next time; nothing is sent to our server. Your photo and logo are loaded straight from the addresses you enter, both in the preview and later in your recipients' mail apps.

Email signature generator: frequently asked questions

Why don't my images show up after pasting the signature into Gmail?
Gmail only displays images that it can fetch from a public web address, and it strips pictures that are embedded inside the HTML. Make sure the photo and logo links start with https:// and open the image itself when pasted into a new browser tab, not a Drive or Dropbox preview page. If an image still fails, try a PNG or JPG under 200 KB.
How do I add an HTML email signature to classic Outlook for Windows?
Copy the signature with the main button, then in Outlook choose File, Options, Mail and Signatures. Create a new signature, click into the editing box and paste. Outlook's Word-based renderer keeps the tables, links and colors from this generator, but it draws round photos and round social icons as squares, which is expected behavior rather than an error.
Can I use my own social media icon images instead of the letter badges?
The built-in icons are colored table cells containing letters, chosen because they need no image hosting and survive image blocking. If you prefer logo artwork, pick Text links, copy the HTML and replace each link text with an img tag pointing at icons you host yourself. Keep them around 24 pixels wide with explicit width and height attributes.
Does the signature work in dark mode?
Mail apps treat dark mode differently: some invert light backgrounds and dark text, others leave your colors alone. Use the dark preview switch to see how the signature reads on a dark background. Mid-tone accent colors and a logo with a transparent background, or a light border around it, usually hold up best in both modes.
Where is my signature saved, and can I edit it later?
Everything you type is kept in this browser's local storage, so the form is filled in again when you come back on the same device. Use Save signature to keep named versions, for example one per role, and click a saved chip to load it. Clearing your browser data or switching devices removes them, so download the .html file as a backup.
