About Color screen
Sometimes you need the whole display to be one exact color: red for night vision, green behind a small product you plan to key out, a brand color for a photo backdrop, or a warm orange glow in a dark room. This page fills the screen edge to edge with any sRGB color, picked from twelve swatches, typed as a three- or six-digit hex code or chosen with your system's color picker, and shows the matching RGB and HSL values.
The chosen color is added to the address as ?c=ff0000, so a bookmark or a shared link opens the same color, and the last color you used is remembered in this browser. Keep-awake stops the display from sleeping, and an optional cycle steps through the swatches every 1, 3, 10 or 30 seconds, with a fade if you want gentle mood lighting rather than hard cuts. The cycle never goes faster than one change a second.
You can also save the color as a solid PNG, JPG or WebP image from Full HD to 8K, or a custom size up to 16,384 pixels a side, for wallpapers, placeholders or slide backgrounds. PNG files are written directly and stay tiny at any size.
Keep expectations realistic. A screen shows colors through its own panel and settings, so the same hex code looks a little different on two devices, and night modes shift it further. Saturated green is fine for keying out small objects but too dim and small to replace a real green screen behind a person, and a blue fill has nothing to do with a crashed computer's blue screen.
Privacy
The color fill and the color images are made by the page in your browser and never uploaded. The last color, keep-awake and fade choices are stored in this browser's local storage, and the color you pick also appears in the page address so you can share it.
