XML to Excelの使い方

  1. 1

    Drop the XML export

From a bank, a marketplace, a 1C or SAP export, a price list or a feed.

  2. 2

    Confirm the record element

Each repeating element becomes one spreadsheet row; the most likely one is preselected, the list shows the others.

  3. 3

    Download the .xlsx

Preview the rows, decide whether numbers and dates should be typed, and save the workbook.

制限と Pro

XML files up to 100 MB; one sheet of up to 1,048,576 rows.

XML to Excel について

XML to Excel opens the records hidden in an XML file as an ordinary spreadsheet. Pick the element that represents a record and you get one row per record, with a header row of column names, ready for sorting, filtering, pivot tables or a quick check by someone who never reads XML.

The column layout is the same as for CSV: attributes and child elements become columns, nested elements get dot names (supplier.inn, address.region), and repeated children are joined in one cell or spread over numbered columns.

What Excel adds is types. With type detection on, 125000 and 4.5 become numbers you can sum, true and false become logical cells, and ISO dates such as 2026-03-31 or 2026-03-31T14:30:00 become real Excel dates shown as yyyy-mm-dd or with the time. Identifiers with leading zeros — tax numbers, account numbers, product codes like 007 — stay text so Excel doesn't strip the zeros, and so do numbers longer than 15 digits. Turn detection off to keep every value as text, exactly as the XML had it.

The workbook has one sheet named after the record element, with column widths fitted to the content. Excel limits a sheet to 1,048,576 rows and 16,384 columns; a bigger XML export should be split or converted to CSV instead. Formatting such as colours or bold headers isn't added.

プライバシー

Parsing the XML and writing the XLSX both happen in a worker in this tab (SheetJS writes the workbook); the export never leaves your computer.

XML to Excel:よくある質問

Can Excel open XML files directly — why use this?
Desktop Excel can import some XML through an XML map, but it often fails on nested or repeated elements, isn't available in Excel for the web or on phones, and asks questions about schemas. Here you pick the record element, see the table immediately and get a plain .xlsx that opens anywhere, including LibreOffice and Google Sheets.
Will numbers and dates be real numbers and dates?
Yes, with “Detect numbers, true/false and dates” on. Plain numbers become numeric cells, true/false become logical values and ISO-formatted dates become date cells. Values with leading zeros, very long numbers and dates written in other styles, such as 31.03.2026, stay text so nothing is altered without you noticing.
What is the sheet called?
It is named after the element you chose as the record, for example book or order, shortened to Excel's 31-character limit, with characters Excel forbids in sheet names replaced. The header row holds the column names built from attribute and element names, such as id, title and price.currency.
Does it work with large XML exports?
XML files up to 100 MB are converted in a background worker, so the page keeps responding; a 30 MB export with over a million elements takes about ten seconds. The finished sheet must fit Excel's 1,048,576-row limit, and very wide records are capped by its 16,384 columns.
Can I get several sheets, one per element type?
Each conversion produces one sheet for one record element. Convert again with another element selected to get its sheet, then combine the workbooks in Excel if you need them together. The XML stays loaded while you switch, so each extra conversion only takes a moment.
