PNG to JPGの使い方

  1. 1

    Drop the PNG files

Add up to 10 PNG screenshots, exports or downloads of up to 25 MB each; other formats can join the same batch.

  2. 2

    Choose a fill colour

Transparent parts of a PNG become white in the JPG. Pick another colour under Quality if the image will sit on a dark page.

  3. 3

    Set the quality

90 is preselected: near-invisible loss at a fraction of the PNG's size. Lower it for email attachments, raise it for print.

  4. 4

    Download

Each file keeps its name with .jpg at the end; save them one by one or as converted-jpg.zip.

制限と Pro

Up to 10 PNG files per batch, 25 MB each, converted at their original resolution.

Pro converts batches of 500 PNG files of up to 4 GB each. Pro を見る

PNG to JPG について

PNG stores every pixel exactly, which is perfect for screenshots, diagrams and logos but heavy for photographs: a 12-megapixel photo saved as PNG can easily weigh 20–30 MB. JPG throws away detail the eye barely notices and usually brings the same picture down to 2–5 MB at quality 90, which is why upload forms, email clients and print shops so often ask for JPG instead.

This page decodes each PNG and encodes it with MozJPEG at the quality you choose. Two things change on the way. First, transparency: JPG has no alpha channel, so transparent and semi-transparent areas are flattened onto a fill colour, white unless you pick another. A logo with soft edges therefore keeps a smooth outline against that colour, but it will show a box if you later place the JPG on a different background. Second, sharp edges: JPG compression works in 8 × 8 blocks and can leave faint ripples around text, thin lines and flat areas of colour, which is most visible on screenshots with small type.

So the conversion is a good idea for photos, photo-heavy screenshots and scans, and a poor one for icons, interface mock-ups and graphics with large flat colours, which often stay smaller and crisper as PNG. The pixel dimensions don't change, and any text chunks or metadata inside the PNG are not copied. If you need a small file and transparency together, choose WebP instead under Convert to.

プライバシー

Your browser decodes the PNG files and MozJPEG, compiled to WebAssembly, writes the JPGs in a Web Worker on your device. Neither the images nor their names are sent to a server.

PNG to JPG:よくある質問

What happens to the transparent background when I convert PNG to JPG?
JPG can't store transparency, so those pixels are filled with a solid colour, white by default. Choose the colour under Fill transparent areas with, for example black or the exact hex code of the page where the picture will appear. Semi-transparent edges are blended with that colour, so the outline stays smooth instead of jagged.
Will converting PNG to JPG make the file smaller?
For photos and screenshots of photos, yes, often by 70–90%. For simple graphics such as logos, charts and icons with a few flat colours, not necessarily: PNG compresses those very efficiently and a JPG can come out the same size or even larger, with soft blotches around the edges. Compare the sizes on the cards before downloading.
Does PNG to JPG lose quality?
A little, because JPG is lossy. At quality 90, the default, differences are very hard to see in photos. They show up first around small text and thin lines in screenshots, as faint smudges or ripples. Raise the quality to 95–100 for those, or keep them as PNG. The image's width and height stay exactly the same.
Why do some websites only accept JPG?
Mostly for file size and compatibility. Job portals, government forms and older systems set small upload limits and expect photos, which JPG stores most compactly. Some can't display transparency and would show a black background. Converting your PNG to a JPG of the right size avoids both problems; if there is also a KB limit, the photo and signature resizer can hit it exactly.
Can I convert many PNG files to JPG at once?
Yes, add up to 10 at a time on the free plan, by dragging a selection of files or a whole set from a folder. Every image is converted as soon as it arrives with the same quality and fill colour, and Download all saves them in one ZIP. Change a setting and all of them are converted again automatically.
