Paraphrasing tool について

Paraphrasing helps when a passage says the right thing in the wrong way: a clumsy line in a cover letter, a paragraph you need to explain to a younger audience, a product description that sounds like every other one. Paste up to 4,000 characters, roughly 600 words, choose a mode, and Claude, Anthropic's AI model, returns the passage in new words.

Standard gives fresh wording at about the same length. Fluent smooths awkward phrasing and the joins between sentences. Formal suits reports, applications and official letters. Simple uses everyday words and short sentences for learners and young readers. Shorter cuts repetition and filler to roughly half the length while keeping each point. For a sentence or two, up to 600 characters, you can ask for three versions at once and pick the one that fits.

The rewrite keeps names, numbers, technical terms and quotations as they were, keeps your paragraph breaks, and stays in the language you wrote in, so Uzbek stays Uzbek and Spanish stays Spanish. Switch to Show changes to see the replaced words struck through and the new ones underlined, next to the word count before and after.

What it doesn't do: it doesn't check for plagiarism or add citations, and it isn't built to disguise AI-written text or slip past AI detectors. Rewording somebody else's work still needs a reference to the original. Read the result before you use it, because a rewrite can occasionally shift a nuance.

プライバシー

Nothing is sent while you type. When you press Paraphrase, the text and the mode you picked go to our server, which passes them to Anthropic's API so Claude can write the new version, and the answer comes back to this page. We don't save the text or write it to logs, and Anthropic handles it under API terms that don't allow training models on it. Only your mode and version choices are remembered in this browser.

Paraphrasing tool:よくある質問

Is using a paraphrasing tool plagiarism?
Rewording another person's ideas without credit is still plagiarism, whichever tool does the rewording. If the original came from a book, an article or a website, cite it as you would a quotation. This tool is meant for your own drafts and for understanding a difficult source, not for passing off someone else's work. Many schools also have rules about AI help, so check yours.
Which paraphrasing mode should I use?
Standard when you simply want different wording. Fluent when the meaning is right but the sentences feel stiff, for example in text translated from another language. Formal for work emails, applications and reports. Simple for instructions, children or people learning the language. Shorter when you're over a word limit and need the same points in about half the space.
Will it change my facts or numbers?
The model is told to keep names, numbers, dates, technical terms and quotations exactly as written and not to add or drop points. It's good at this but not perfect, so compare the result with your original, especially figures and anything legal or medical. The Show changes view makes edits easy to spot: removed words are struck through and new words underlined.
Does it paraphrase languages other than English?
Yes. Claude reads and writes most widely used languages, including Uzbek, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi and Japanese, and the tool keeps your text in the language and alphabet you used: Uzbek in Latin letters stays Latin, Cyrillic stays Cyrillic. It never translates. To change the language, write the text in that language first or use a translator.
Is my text stored, and how many paraphrases can I do?
We don't store or log your text: it passes through our server to Anthropic's API and the answer comes straight back. What we keep is a request counter per connection, in memory, for 24 hours. The free plan allows 20 requests a day across all the AI writing tools and 5 a minute; Pro allows 200 a day.
