Extract images from PDFの使い方
- 1
Drop the PDF
Choose a PDF of up to 50 MB. Every page is searched for pictures right away; password-protected files ask for the password first.
- 2
Look through the images
Each picture appears once as a thumbnail with its pixel size, file size, format and the pages it is used on.
- 3
Pick a format
Original keeps stored JPEG photos byte for byte and saves the rest as PNG; PNG or JPG gives every image the same format.
- 4
Download
Save a single image with its download button, or untick the ones you don't need and download the rest as one ZIP.
制限と Pro
One PDF of up to 50 MB; the first 200 pages are searched for images.
Pro opens PDFs of up to 4 GB and searches up to 5,000 pages at once. Pro を見る
Extract images from PDF について
Screenshots of a PDF give you pictures at whatever size they happen to be on screen. This tool goes into the file instead and takes out the raster images it contains — photos, scans, logos saved as bitmaps — at the resolution they were stored at, which is often far higher than the size they are printed at. A 3000-pixel photo shrunk into a two-inch box on the page comes out as the full 3000-pixel photo.
Where a photo is stored as a JPEG and nothing in the PDF alters how it is drawn, the Original format saves those exact bytes, so you get the very file that was placed into the document, with no second round of compression. Every other picture is decoded by PDF.js, whatever its compression or colour space (Flate, JPEG 2000, JBIG2, CCITT fax, CMYK, indexed or greyscale), and saved as lossless PNG, transparency included. An image that appears on many pages, such as a logo in every header, is listed once with all its pages, and tiny icons, bullets and lines under 32 pixels are hidden unless you ask for them.
Anything drawn with vector shapes is not an image: most charts from Excel, diagrams, icons from design apps and text itself. Those can't be pulled out as files; save the whole page as PNG to keep them. An image is also extracted complete, so a photo cropped on the page comes out uncropped, and a picture split into strips by the software that made the PDF comes out as those strips.
プライバシー
PDF.js decodes the images in a Web Worker and a second worker writes the PNG files and reads the stored JPEG data with pdf-lib, all on your device; nothing from the PDF is uploaded. PDFs with JPEG 2000 or JBIG2 pictures make PDF.js fetch its decoder from the jsDelivr CDN once; those requests carry none of your data.
